Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data 7Prints collects when you visit our website or shop with us, how we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have.

Last updated October 4, 2026

The short version

  • We collect what we need to take, make and deliver your order, and to answer your messages.
  • We share your details only with the companies that help us do that, such as our production partners, delivery carriers and payment providers.
  • Advertising and marketing cookies are only used if you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
  • We only send you marketing emails if you sign up for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
  • We don’t sell your personal data.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time.

Who we are

7Prints is run by 7Prints (“we” or “us”). We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us its “controller” under EU and UK data protection law. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What we collect and why

When you place an order

Your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, what you buy and your order history. We use them to make and deliver your order, send order and delivery emails, handle refunds and returns, and keep the records tax law requires. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, who receive your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive limited details, such as the payment method, the last four digits of your card and whether the payment went through, to process refunds and prevent fraud. Legal basis: our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud.

If you create an account

Your email address, a password (stored in a scrambled form we can’t read) and your saved addresses, so you can see your orders and check out faster. Ask us at any time to delete your account. Legal basis: our contract with you.

When you contact us

Your messages and any details you give us, so we can answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping our customers.

Reviews and review reminders

If you write a review, the name you enter, your rating and your review are shown publicly on our site; your email address isn’t. If you ask for a review reminder on your order confirmation page, we send you one email about that order and nothing else. Legal basis: your consent.

Our weekly email

If you sign up for our weekly email, on our website or on your order confirmation page, we use your email address to send it about once a week, with new designs, theme picks and offers. If you sign up on our website, we first email you a link to confirm it’s really you. We keep a record of when and where you signed up and when you confirmed, to show that you agreed. The links in our emails carry campaign tags, so we can see which emails lead to visits and orders.

Every email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away, or email [email protected]. After you unsubscribe, we keep your address only so we never email you by mistake, unless you ask us to delete it. Legal basis: your consent.

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary cookies keep your cart, checkout and login working, protect the site and remember your cookie choices. The site can’t work without them.

With your consent, we also use marketing cookies. The Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which of our ads lead to visits and purchases, and help show our ads to people likely to be interested. Our shop software (WooCommerce) records how you found us, such as through an ad or a search engine. These run only if you agree in our cookie banner, or, where the law allows them by default, until you opt out. Change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link on every page. Legal basis: your consent.

How visitors use our website

To improve our shop, we count which pages are visited and how: for example which products are looked at, how long a page stays open, how far down it is scrolled, what is searched for, and the steps on the way to an order. We do this with our own tool, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. To tell visits apart, your internet (IP) address and browser type are combined and scrambled with a code that changes every day and is then deleted, so the result can’t be traced back to you; your IP address itself isn’t stored. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website.

Technical data

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Who we share it with

  • Our production and fulfillment partners make, pack and ship your order. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number and the items you ordered.
  • Delivery carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
  • Stripe and PayPal process your payment.
  • Meta Platforms receives the advertising data described above, only with your consent.
  • Hostinger hosts our website and sends our emails, and our content delivery network serves the site quickly around the world.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountant, or a court or tax authority, when the law requires it.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t give it to anyone for their own marketing.

International transfers

Some of the companies we work with are based in the United States or other countries outside the UK and the European Economic Area. When your data is transferred there, it’s protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 6 to 10 years depending on the country.
  • Your account: until you ask us to delete it.
  • Messages to us: as long as we need them to help you and handle follow-up questions.
  • Our weekly email: until you unsubscribe, then only as described above. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
  • Visit statistics: 6 months.
  • Your cookie choices: up to 12 months, after which we ask again.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct data that’s wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data, unless we must keep it, for example for tax records;
  • limit how we use it, or object to our use of it;
  • send your data to you or another company in a common format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.

Email [email protected]. We’ll reply within one month. If you’re in the EU or the UK and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

If you live in the United States

Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut or Virginia), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, get a copy, correct or delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising. We don’t sell personal information for money. Allowing Meta’s marketing cookies may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws; you can opt out at any time with the cookie settings link. We’ll never treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

Our shop isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.

Keeping your data safe

Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, payments are handled by certified payment providers, and access to order details is limited to the people and companies who need it to run the shop.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we’ll tell you by email if you have an account or an open order.
